Womansplaining is at an early stage. This site is a landing page: it collects an email address, and sometimes a sentence you choose to write, so we can reply to you and tell you when the product opens. That is all it does.
Womansplaining is run by an individual working from Amsterdam, the Netherlands — not a company. The name and postal address of the person responsible for your data are available on request by email.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, dates of birth, health data or anything about your cycle. There is no account to create and no app to install.
Two different things run on this site, and they are deliberately treated differently.
If you accept, Meta's pixel records that you visited this page and, if you join the list, that a signup happened. Meta can connect that to your Facebook or Instagram account and use it to measure and target advertising. That is real advertising profiling, and it happens in Meta's hands rather than ours. If you would rather it didn't, decline — the site works exactly the same either way, and you will never be asked twice in one visit.
Change your mind, any time. Your answer is remembered in your own browser. Press this and it is forgotten, so you will be asked again on your next visit — and the pixel will not load until you say so.
This clears the choice stored in this browser. It does not delete data Meta already holds — for that, use the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, or email us and we will pass the request on.

We do not sell your data, and we share it with advertisers only through the Meta measurement described above — which is yours to switch off. Nothing you write in the translator is shown to a partner, to another user, or used to advertise anything to you.
Analytics stay in the EU. Your email address and anything you write to us sit with Loops in the United States, so that data does leave the EEA; those transfers are covered by our data processing terms with Loops, which use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare and Meta are both certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and that is the safeguard their transfers rely on.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to have it sent elsewhere, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will do it within 30 days — on a project this small, deletion usually takes minutes rather than weeks.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to your national data protection authority — in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, in the UK the ICO, in Ireland the DPC.
This site is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this page changes materially we will update the date at the top, and tell you by email if it affects data we already hold.
